| Leo Robcio cuts dejected figure as he admits Skyfall Racing can't compete at the top
A disappointed Leo Robcio reflected on a 9th-place finish at the 2022 RedHeroes Chinese GP, as Skyfall continued to struggle with issues on their car and are way down the leaderboard as a result
Leo Robcio stressed his disappointment with a 9th-place finish at the Chinese GP. The Sicilian driver endured a nightmare practice session on Friday, followed by a superb lap in qualifying session, as he began the race in P4.
The Skyfall star lost places at the start and is still a far cry from the performances we have become accustomed to last year. The Sicilian driver was seen hunched over at the end of the race and in his post-race interview, he addressed the Skyfall Racing's current struggles.
“Right now, we’re not fighting for the top step. We’re so far off the guys up ahead. We’ve got a lot of work to do,” he surmised. “I don’t particularly feel like we have made improvements. All I know is that I couldn’t keep up with Pasquale Genchi in the end.
“The power they have, they came slingshotting past me when I overtook Tore Spanu earlier in the race.” When asked how far off the pace he felt, Leo added: “It feels like a long way away. We’re still really down on speed. It’s not just one fix, it’s several things.
“I don’t really know but I’ll have to speak to the team. It’s definitely gutting but I got some points at least and we’ll work harder in the next races.” |

| CITAZIONE (Itachi™ @ 5/3/2022, 16:32) QUALIFICACar 88, Leo Robcio: taglio giro veloce  Ad un primo sguardo questo potrebbe essere un caso particolare perchè questa pista ha una doppia linea di demarcazione del tracciato ma l'unica linea che non si interrompe mai è quella gialla. Quest'ultima è la linea di riferimento per questa pista quindi, sfortunatamente, questo giro non è valido.

"Nelle restanti altre aree (ad esempio una via di fuga in cemento) non bisogna in ogni caso mai superare con tutte e quattro le ruote la linea bianca."
In quello specifico screen le ruote fuori dalla linea di demarcazione del tracciato (linea gialla) sono solo due (sicuramente non tutte e quattro). Le altre sono SULLA linea. |
